Sunny’s coat, mane, and tail are incredibly thick. So thick that my shedding comb only scrathes the surface. It took three different days to get his mane combed. Ah … mainly because of his patience level. When he says it’s time to stop — we stop.

I finally got his mane braded and it looked fabulous — for one day. The next day, after he had rolled several times, it was over! All those hours of standing my feet and braiding his mane — for nought. All gone! It happened so fast I didn’t even get a picture of it. No proof, so you guys will have to trust me.

Next time I spend that much time working on him, I’ll take a picture BEFORE he leaves the barn.
